Garden Art

Primitiva Pottery and Tile offers vibrant colors of raspberry, mango, papaya, kiwi, and wisteria for totems. Each totem averages 18 pieces and vary in height from 5 feet to 7.5 feet.

Planters make a statement with their textured but bare terracotta exteriors. Inside, muted versions of raspberry mango, dandelion, kiwi, and wisteria provide the background for favorite plants. Blue and a cream available.

Garden sculptures combine matted and muted glazes with more subdued, but varigated colors sometimes accented by splashes of tropical color.

Primitiva Tile

Tile dimensions used for borders are an approximate 4 x 4, 6 x 9, and 2 x 9. Colors choices are available. Gift tiles have the same color options as border tile, but have a method to hang them. Frames are available with the 4 x 4 tiles.

Primitiva Tiles can be used as accent pieces in back splashes or shower walls. They have a distinctive look that draws people to touch them.

Decorative Containers

I have always loved containers, much more so lidded containers. Over the years, my miniature containers have grown in size and whimsy. My decorative containers use my color palette of tropical colors with some metallic lusters applied in a third firing. AND there always is a bit of mystery as to what surprise awaits you inside.

I have vases for flower lovers. These vases look good even without flowers! They come in my tropical palette.

Bowls, once they exceed a moderate size, become decorative pieces because their size can anchor a piece of furniture. They come in my tropical palette with glazed leaves on the outside and much textured terracotta surface.

Dinnerware

Primitiva Pottery and Tile started and continues with platters, plates, and bowls. Any of these pieces makes presentation of food special. I make custom dinner sets that are handbuilt rather than thrown. They are carved on the borders and surfaces that utensils do not contact. All my dinnerware is dishwasher safe to remove the obstacles of using these pieces in everyday life.
