For the Birds

Birds linger in your garden if you provide places to feed, drink, perch, and nest. Primitiva Pottery first made bird baths 15 years ago. My bird line now includes Bird Spas, Bird Pools, and Bird Pods. Like my garden totems, the Spas are made of several pieces threaded onto conduit or rebar. The top spa is designed to be topple proof even if a large bird landed or a squirrel jumped onto it from a tree above.

The spas are different than bird baths in that they are sized for a small quantity of water, seed or fruit for birds and butterflies. They range in height from 3.5 to 4.5 feet. They sport beautiful carved shallow bowls atop their posts. They are winter hardy in Washington and to zone 7.
