Planters
All cultures place importance on gardening. Gardening provides a means for connecting with the earth, with each other, creativity, and peace.
New for 2011 are familiar forms of terracotta pots with a little flair. As with my other planters, these are winter hardy to at least zone 7.

Planter Pods
Primitiva Pottery and Tile uses terracotta clay inspired by organic pod and bud forms to create unique planters. They stand on three feet and are typically six to seven inches in diameter and height. Their edges undulate and ripple adding to their illusion of movement. Most sport shoes or boots placing them firmly on the ground. A few go barefoot. They are winter hardy to zone 7.
Chalk Pots
I found that the crows and squirrels regard plant tags as a game removal. This challenge inspired the concept for Chalk Pots, planters on which you can write and erase serious plant information or changing messages... grow, grow, grow--or Happy Birthday to a friend.
